Currently, foreigners can go through customs using their passport number or foreigner registration number instead of a personal customs clearance code.

However, starting October 1st, 2023, passport numbers or foreign registration numbers will no longer be valid for customs clearance and  only the personal customs clearance code will be accepted, 

All information stored in the address book, except for names, contact numbers, and addresses, such as passport numbers or foreigner registration numbers, will be deleted on September 20th.

After this date, only the personal customs clearance code verification will be eligible for applying for delivery services.

In particular, for foreigners, the personal customs clearance code issued often lacks spaces between the names and is stored in the UniPass system. 

Please ensure that your personal customs clearance code matches the information stored in UniPass when filling out the application form.

현재 외국인의 경우 통관 진행시 개인통관고유부호가 아닌 여권번호, 외국인 등록번호로도 통관 진행이 가능합니다.

10/1일부터는 여권번호, 외국인 등록번호가 아닌 개인통관고유부호만 사용이 가능하여

기존의 주소록에 저장되어 있는 모든 정보(이름, 연락처, 주소 이외의 여권번호나 외국인 등록번호 등)는 삭제처리 될 예정입니다.

삭제 시점은 9월 20일 이며 이후로는 개인통관고유부호 검증을 통과한 정보에 대해서만 배송대행 신청서 작성이 가능한 점 알려드립니다.

특히 외국인이실 경우 개인통관고유부호 발급은 이름, 성의 중간에 삽입된 띄어쓰기가 없이 유니패스 시스템에 저장되고 있는 경우가 많기 때문에

유니패스에 등록되어 있는 개인통관고유부호 정보와 일치하도록 확인하시어 신청서 작성 부탁드립니다.
